• Establishes an open line of communication between the school's families and the PTO through the use of phone calls, emails, and notices
  
• Organizes class parties and events, in cooperation with the teacher, the room parents and families of the other class. The parties may include: Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's, End of School
  
• Solicits food donations for school events (e.g., PTO meetings, Back to School night) as assigned by the room parent coordinator and as listed on the PTO Calendar
